On April 18, 2019 PVIA set up a booth at the 13th Annual Eastern Oklahoma Agricultural Trade Show held at the Poteau, Oklahoma Fairgrounds. The Eastern Oklahoma Trade Show is sponsored by the LeFlore County Conservation District along with other conservation districts and organizations. Attendees have an opportunity to learn by visiting booths set up by vendors and local organizations, have a good lunch, and attend educational presentations. Some of the educational offerings provide required Continuing Education Credits for poultry growers, while others which are aimed at the general public. Topics this year included Poultry House Summer Energy Tips, Mortality Composting, and Gardening Basics.

PVIA staff Tim Butler and Dustin Tamplin showed trade show attendees how PVIA produces crystal clear & safe drinking water.
PVIA staff answered question from attendees about water quality and how the treatment plant works, and showed off a model of the plant, as well as a demonstration of how PVIA turns muddy water into crystal clear, safe, drinking water.
Sponsors for the trade show this year included the LeFlore, Haskell, Latimer, and Sequoyah County, Little River and Talihina Conservation Districts, OSU Cooperative Extension Service, LeFlore County Cattlemen’s Association, Oklahoma Tribal Conservation Advisory Council, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Farm Service Agency, Choctaw Nation, Kerr Center for Sustainable Agriculture and OK Foods.
